| The Department of Employment and Training provides referrals to job openings both locally and nationwide. They also offer career counseling, skill training and workshops and seminars (resumes, interviewing, assessments and more) to assist in career development. | The Vermont Center For Independent Living supports disabled individuals, to help them maintain an independent living style. They assist any disabled persons between the ages of 18 and 60 |
Vermont Associates places individuals in
public, private or non-profit organizations 20 hours per week. Vermont
Associates teaches new skills and improves work skills. Anyone 55 or over,
willing to learn, wants to work full or part-time who meets income
guidelines is available for assistance.
